ASSEMBLAGE Series by JEAN PELLE
Limited edition works of furniture and home accessories are assembled and composed by Jean Pelle. Assemblage pieces begin with a curatorial approach and use a combination of carefully selected parts collected from a variety of sources and over different periods of time.
Vanity Cabinet
A wall mounted beauty cabinet with a face lamp and an extendable mirror. Vanity cabinets are intended for both men and women and can be used to store smaller items such as makeup, jewelry, perfume and shaving accessories. Chain cord switch for face lamp is located on the side of cabinet. Corkboard inside can be used to pin up photos and notes.
Keepsake Box
A small storage chest for personal belongings. Fabric straps work like a belt and can be loosened and cinched for an added measure of security- A false bottom reveals a hidden compartment inside box.
Button-Up Lamp
A hanging lamp with a soft canvas shade meant to be rumpled and maneuvered. Lamp can be hung from the ceiling or the wall. Button up shade to create dim light; Leave unbuttoned for unfiltered bright light.
Bedside Tray
A drinking cup and lamp affixed to a bedside tray. Material is a polyresin which weighs and feels like stone. Tray is water-resistant and acts as a coaster for the drinking cup. Lamp bulb is a 30 watt perma-glow specialty bulb which lasts approximately 3,000 hours.
Catch-All Bowl
Ideal for holding fruit on the table or personal items on the dresser. A branch cutting serves as a handle and holder for bowl. Bowls are food-safe, made of birch wood and should be washed by hand.
